Mrs. Shree Priya
My name is Shree Priya.
I was born on 10/03/1995 at Patna. I pursued my schooling from Surendranath Centenary School, Ranchi. I went on to pursue my B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, graduating in the block year 2013–2018, with a specialization in Corporate Laws and a deep interest in International Trade Law.
To gain practical insights into the corporate legal world, I interned with leading Tier-1 corporate law firms of India like Luthra and Luthra, New Delhi, Lakshmikumaran Sridharan, New Delhi, Nishith Desai, New delhi, etc. I actively participated in national moot court competitions which gave me early courtroom exposure and sharpened my advocacy skills, preparing me for the challenges of the legal profession.
Driven by my passion for corporate law, I pursued my LL.M. from The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata in the year 2019-2020. I was conferred the LL.M. degree by the erstwhile Chief Justice of India, an inspiring moment that further strengthened me to resolve to join the Judicial Services.
Undeterred and determined, I appeared for the Jharkhand Judicial Services Examination and secured 3rd Rank.
I joined the Judicial Services on 07.10.2020 and was posted at Jamshedpur, where I served till 2024 as Judicial Magistrate First Class cum Addl Civil Judge (Jr Div).
Presently, I am posted as Judicial Magistrate cum Additional Civil Judge Jr Div at the Giridih Civil Court since 01.05.2024.
