Grown up, brought up and schooled in Delhi. Passed Delhi Secondary School Examination, 1983 (Xth Class) from Ramjas Senior Secondary School No. 3, Chandani Chowk, Delhi. Passed Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination, 1985 (XIIth Class) from Ramjas Senior Secondary School No. 1, Darya Ganj, New Delhi. Passed Graduation (B. Sc.) from Zakir Hussain College, University of Delhi, Delhi (1989). Passed LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi (1992). Passed LL.M. from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (2014).
